The DIY Crystal chamber Kit was designed to look and feel precious, mystical and mysterious. A wireless design was thus called for.

The iluin Kit is powered by a Lithium-Ion battery, quite like the one you find in your everyday watches. We opted for a custom PCB (Printed Circuit Board), designed in-house, with an RGB LED and a switch to complete the wireless setup. 

The RGB LED on the iluin Kit‘s PCB can cycle between colours, namely red, blue or green. To do this, you push the switch backwards or forwards. Quite simple, right? You would need something small like a screwdriver to push the switch back and forth. For additional awe, you could order two PCBs and mix the light from either side of the Kit. This is possible since each Kit comes with two parts which could house PCBs on both poles. Every iluin Kit comes with one PCB, which means that you will have to contact us if you would like an extra one. See the presentation below for a better understanding as to what the iluin Kit setup looks like once installed.

The housing we opted for is professionally SLS 3D printed Nylon material which is ultra sturdy and durable. Needless to say, it also looks pretty darn cool. The idea behind the iluin Kit is to enhance the beauty and splendour of your already super nice, super modular DIY Crystal Chamber Kit. The iluin Kit setup is meant to serve as a display piece for a desk or showcase alongside your saber collection or wherever you think it‘ll look best.

What its about:
An enlisting phase helps us to understand how many force users (or force sensitives) want to get their hands on a ProtoStar hilt. We need this information to understand wether it is at all feasible to do a production run. If you are a fan of the ProtoStar and you want to support us, please help us to get the word out there! Invite your friends who might be interested to join in on our journey to bring this beauty of a saber to life. There will be some goodies too, more infos about that later. ;)

When you enlist yourself via the enlisting phase of this profuct campaign, we will not charge you anything nor will you be entitled to any product neither digital nor physical. This is not a pre-order and we will not charge you any money. This solely helps us to understand interest and a way we can contact you once the saber is ready for pre-ordering and/or shipping.

What we‘ll do next:

3: Produce a prototype.
4: Showcase the prototype. (Via our socials and other channels. You may come check out the saber in person at our location if you contact us for a date 😊)
5: Saber moves into production.
6: We open a pre-order phase.
7: Emtpy sabers are ready for shipping.
8: We offer installed sabers and special edition installed sabers.
The step-by-step model is a similar process to how we made the Nomad run and our plans of action for future sabers will be similar.

Please note that the photos showcasing the ProtoStar are renderings. We will share actual pictures of the saber once we have the first prototype.

Hello there !
Long has it been, wandering the planets moons and stars, roaming the galaxy. Now, I have arrived. Call me Nomad. I am ready for adventure. Will you take me with you?

Here it finally is, Nomad. My very first saber I have ever made and have ever mass produced. I put my heart and soul into this.

The production of the hilts is completed and they are eager to get to their new homes, although the cores are still currently being manufactured.
In the meantime, Nomad is ready to be fully revealed to you.

The price has been a journey to evaluate since I started this run. I always remained particular about keeping prices as attractive as possible for you guys all the while not skimping on quality and that general awesomeness-factor. I think we can all agree, as saber hobbyists, that this product should fulfill our childhood (and adult ☺️) dreams and should thus live up to all our expectations.

Short Overview: Nomad costs 450 USD and comes with:

- Nomad Hilt
    - 13 CNC machined, anodised and bead blasted metal parts
    - Set of screws
- Nomad Core (Kyber cell)

- Everyone will receive a sticker with their Nomad’s serial number printed on.
- The first 20 people to order a Nomad will receive a 3D replica of the Nomad with it’s serial number as a special thank you for supporting AzSabers first release <3.
- Manual / overview of Nomad and core with installation guidelines and recommendations for electronics.

Note: There are no electronics included in this kit !
